Professional Teachers Program - Teacher Online Course Series NOW REGISTERING! As part of Teachers Network's Professional Teachers Program, teachers can participate in any of several interactive, small enrollment courses that are useful to mid-career to veteran teachers. Fall Session classes start October 4.
Professional Development Classes through PDI - The University of San Diego operates on the semester system and credit is awarded in semester units with each unit indicating approximately fifteen hours of classroom time. Most school districts accept EDU 500-599 series courses as credit for Professional Development purposes. Prior district approval for salary advancement units is recommended and the responsibility of each student.
The Teachers Network Series - This series of nine Independent Study one-unit classes is based on self-guided online courses developed by the nationwide non-profit organization, Teachers Network. These courses are considered and labeled independent study courses, rather than online courses, on your transcript.
Using the Internet in Your Classroom Series - This series of eight one-unit classes is based on a self-guided online training program developed by the nationwide non-profit organization, Teachers Network. These courses are considered and labeled independent study courses, rather than online courses, on your transcript.
