These courses are considered and labeled independent study courses, rather than online courses, on your transcript.

Visa USA® - Practical Money Skills for Life™ - Two Independent Study courses with online component to assist you in understanding and teaching the essential skills of money management. These courses are considered and labeled independent study courses, rather than online courses, on your transcript.
Using the Internet in Your Classroom Series - This series of eight one-unit classes is based on a self-guided online training program developed by the nationwide non-profit organization, Teachers Network. These courses are considered and labeled independent study courses, rather than online courses, on your transcript.
The University of San Diego operates on the semester system and credit is awarded in semester units with each unit indicating approximately fifteen hours of classroom time. Most school districts accept EDU 500-599 series courses as credit for Professional Development purposes. Prior district approval for salary advancement units is recommended and the responsibility of each student.
