Museum Mania ll! - EDU 570BF 0612 56
1.0 Semester Unit
This class is designed to provide teachers with the opportunity to tour four exhibits at outstanding Bay Area museums: the California Academy of Sciences, the Legion of Honor, the Museum of African Diaspora, the San Jose Tech Museum, and the San Jose Museum of Art. Learning about the unique education experiences provided by these museums can then be shared by participating teachers with their own classrooms and school sites. Students will benefit as teachers bring field trip exploration, cultural activities, community focus, and other ideas into their curriculum.
