This third in a five-course series addresses one of the most pervasive and concerning issues facing students, schools and teachers in schools today. Bullying: An Introduction is a required prerequisite for this course. This course is focused on the issues regarding safety for children and adolescents that have arisen due to access to the Internet. Issues that will be discussed and addressed will be focused on cyberbullying, but will also include other safety concerns on the Internet; such as cyberstalking, classroom Internet abuse and inappropriate usage of images, information and social networking tools. The course is aimed to provide you with a deeper understanding of magnitude of the possibilities of abuse, as well as tools, tips and strategies to prevent inappropriate usage.

This course is a scheduled online course led by an instructor. Taking an online class is convenient, fun and allows you to structure your learning to your own learning style. Take the time you need to read, ponder, and compose responses. Dress as you like. You can work any time, 24/7, at your convenience. No driving. No parking. Online learning is a great way to add time to your life!

Refund requests will be honored if the request is made before midnight on the fourth day of class. Tuition refunds will be less a $25 processing fee. No refunds and/or transfers will be issued after this deadline for any reason. (This refund policy supersedes the policy listed below.)
