Taking off where the popular Teaching Art to Children (EDU 570AF) concludes, this new class will highlight different lessons in this hands-on workshop where you will learn the elements of art, scan famous artists' works, peek into some art history and produce your own works of art using the artist's style. You will be reading, writing and doing 'real' art. Come discover the artist in you and how to develop the artist in each of your students. Bring a pencil, box of crayons, glue stick, scissors, ruler, one-inch brush, roll of paper towels and watercolor paint box. (EDU 570AF is not a pre-requisite, but is recommended.)
