Google Docs for Educators - EDU 581CH
2.0 Semester Units
Register for this course now through June 30, 2013!
Google Docs (to be called Google Drive by the end of summer 2012) is a free, web-based set of tools that allows you to create and edit documents from anywhere at any time and to collaborate on documents when convenient or in real time.
This course is designed to familiarize all teachers, administrators and support staff with the use of Google Docs. Assignments will provide opportunity for teachers to learn how to set up a Google Docs account, how to create and share word processing documents, spreadsheet documents and presentation documents for possible collaboration and how to use Forms to gather and analyze data via an online survey format.
A Google Docs Overview for Educators presentation can be viewed at Google. Link to https://docs.google.com/present/view?skipauth=true&id=ddnctvgt_170cbskvf68
Resources Needed:
