A.R.T. Academic Realization Techniques - EDU 573N 0910 51
3.0 Semester Units
Come join us and prove the research that academic information is completed, owned, understood and remembered when students transform it into the arts. This is not a class for artists, but for people wanting to provide opportunities for their students to create in a wide variety of media. It is designed to use the visual arts to solidify learning. All curricular areas will be addressed with projects to enhance those areas. 5 - 7 activities will be presented each session; teachers will have the opportunity to create all of them and then return to the classroom with projects ready to teach. Most projects can be used through the grades. They are open-ended and exciting!
