By the end of the course the participant will have:
- A clear understanding of the trait of Voice.
- Added to his/her base of knowledge and skills to better teach the trait of Voice.
- Developed strategies for teaching the trait of Voice.
- Written writing prompts for teaching and assessing the trait of Voice.
- Created student-based activities for teaching the trait of Voice.
- Developed strategies for teaching the trait of Voice that include the trait of Conventions in the lesson activities.
- Developed a standards-aligned lesson plan.
PREREQUISITE REQUIREMENT: EDU 537JD Assessing the Six Traits of Writing must be completed before submitting course work for this course.
