2.0 Semester Units
This class is presented by the USD Division of Continuing Education, in cooperation with the San Diego Chapter of the Society of Children's Books Writers and Illustrators. SCBWI is the largest writers organization in the country and the only one specifically for those working in the fields of children's literature and illustration. Participants will write/illustrate their own projects to meet the California State frameworks and tie to the state standards. Participants will also develop lesson plans for the classroom based on an increased understanding of children's literature, writing and illustrating or work on developing their own manuscripts.

The seminar class meets from 12-2 pm. and the lecture series from 2-4 pm
